Job Description
We’re seeking a dynamic and driven Registered Nurse to become a core contributor to our clinical operations team. This position is designed for a highly adaptable clinician who thrives in a multifaceted role — balancing direct clinical engagement, cross-functional collaboration with product and engineering, and leadership in clinical quality standards.
This individual will operate across our entire care delivery ecosystem, contributing to chronic disease management, care gap initiatives, complex authorization processes, and documentation optimization efforts. You will function as the clinical authority within technology-enabled workflows, ensuring patient safety and high standards of care while scaling operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute advanced clinical outreach:
Conduct chronic disease follow-ups, manage care coordination activities, close care gaps, and complete additional AI-enabled clinical tasks that directly impact patient outcomes.
- Oversee nuanced clinical-administrative processes:
Evaluate prior authorizations, appeals, and other cases requiring professional clinical judgment and regulatory insight.
- Collaborate cross-functionally:
Act as a clinical advisor to product and engineering teams by contributing to workflow development, testing emerging automation tools, identifying process exceptions, and refining system performance.
- Lead quality assurance efforts:
Perform audits of operational workflows, detect patterns in performance gaps, and implement corrective action plans. Design and maintain scoring frameworks and clinical evaluation tools.
- Build and strengthen clinical infrastructure:
Create evidence-based protocols, scripts, and decision-support materials that guide AI-driven care agents. Train and mentor team members on workflow standards, platform utilization, and clinical excellence expectations
Required Qualifications
- Licensure:
Active and unrestricted
New York Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
Compact (multi-state) licensure strongly preferred in addition.
- Clinical background:
Minimum of 5 years of professional nursing experience across both in-person and virtual care settings. Experience should include care management, utilization review, prior authorization processes, or population health initiatives.
- Health technology exposure:
Prior work within a healthtech organization, venture-backed startup, payer organization, or technology-enabled care delivery model.
- Quality-driven and self-directed:
Strong attention to detail with the ability to provide thoughtful feedback and develop new processes in evolving, growth-stage environments.
- Location flexibility:
Position may be remote or hybrid. Candidates based in New York City are highly desirable.
Preferred Attributes
- Highly motivated, self-starting professionals who excel as independent contributors
- Entrepreneurial mindset with comfort operating in fast-paced, evolving settings
