Job Description
Founding Engineer \| Munich \| Python, Typescript \| €100k–€140k \+ Equity
I'm partnering with an exciting early-stage startup in Munich to find their Founding Engineer.
This is a rare opportunity to join at the very beginning, working directly with the founders to shape the product, define the technical architecture, and build the engineering function from the ground up.
Responsibilities:
- Designing, building and scaling the core platform from day one
- Owning technical architecture and key engineering decisions
- Building high-performance backend services and APIs
- Working closely with the founders to turn ideas into production quickly
- Helping establish engineering best practices and laying the foundations for future team growth
Requirements:
- Strong commercial experience with TypeScript and Python
- Experience building APIs with FastAPI
- Hands-on experience with GCP and/or AWS
- Experience designing and deploying scalable cloud-based applications
- A product-minded engineer who enjoys ownership and thrives in fast-paced startup environments
- Someone excited by the opportunity to build a company from the ground up
