Overview

The Associate Data Analyst will leverage their analytical skillset by working closely with the Asset review team to develop and apply analytical strategies that will derive insight into the firm’s credit control environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design advanced data analytics solutions to support loan review objectives using tools such as SQL, Python, Co-pilot, Power BI, and other emerging technologies.
  • Own the day-to-day management, maintenance, and enhancement of existing Power BI dashboards, ensuring accuracy, usability, and timely updates for loan review and business stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement data models, dashboards, and automated scripts to identify credit risk trends, anomalies, and control gaps.
  • Generate a visual analysis with charts/graphs for continuous monitoring and reporting.
  • Extract, transform, and analyze large and complex data sets from multiple systems and formats to support credit reviews and special projects.
  • Evaluate and validate the integrity of data sources, processes, and controls; ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Provide thought leadership on data analytics best practices, emerging tools, and innovative approaches to enhance credit monitoring efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Communicate findings and actionable insights to senior management and stakeholders through clear reports and visualizations.
  • Support requests from external auditors and regulators related to data extracts and data validation of key financial reports
  • May perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field. Graduate education such as Masters in Data Science or related field is considered a plus.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, and Power BI.
  • Proven ability to design and implement complex analytics solutions and automation.
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines with minimal supervision.

Compensation

The base pay range for this position is USD $71,000\.00/Yr. - USD $85,000\.00/Yr. Exact offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
