Job Description

We are seeking an entry-level

DevOps Engineer

to support cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, automation, and application deployments.

The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in cloud platforms, system automation, and DevOps best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for application deployments.
• Support cloud infrastructure setup and monitoring on AWS / Azure / GCP.
• Automate deployments and infrastructure using scripting and IaC tools.
• Monitor system performance, logs, and application availability.
• Assist in containerization using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to improve release processes.
• Support configuration management and version control activities.
• Document infrastructure, deployment processes, and runbooks.

Required Skills \& Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Cloud Computing, or related field.
• Basic understanding of DevOps concepts and workflows.
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix commands.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP).
• Experience with Git and version control.
• Basic scripting knowledge (Shell / Python).
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills (Good-to-Have)

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Exposure to monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana).
• Understanding of Ansible / Chef / Puppet.
• Knowledge of networking, security basics, and load balancing.
• Academic or project experience in DevOps or cloud automation.
