Aeron is a technical turnkey contractor in ventilation, heating \& cooling, pipes, electrical and automation for marine, offshore and land-based operations.

Role Description

The Electrical Engineer is responsible for the design, documentation, and implementation of electrical systems with HVAC-related installations. The role involves developing detailed engineering deliverables, ensuring compliance with project requirements, and supporting system integration across instrumentation, control systems, and power distribution.

Experience within HVAC systems and offshore/marine environments is considered an advantage.

Key responsibilities

Electrical Engineering \& System Design:

  • Develop and review electrical designs, including power distribution and control systems
  • Prepare and maintain circuit diagrams and wiring diagrams
  • Design and document electrical interfaces for HVAC systems
  • Ensure compliance with applicable standards, specifications, and client requirements

Instrumentation \& Control:

  • Develop and maintain
  • Input/Output (I/O) lists and allocation tables
  • Instrument index and junction box index
  • HVAC signal lists
  • Prepare cause and effect diagrams for system functionality and safety logic
  • Define alarm, timer, and trip settings for HVAC systems

Documentation \& Datasheets:

  • Prepare technical datasheets for instruments and equipment
  • Develop hazardous area certification documentation
  • Ensure full traceability and consistency across all engineering documentation

Cyber Security:

  • Contribute to implementation of cybersecurity requirements for control systems
  • Ensure secure communication interfaces within HVAC and instrumentation systems

Qualifications

Required:

  • Master’s degree in electrical engineer, marine engineer or related field
  • Proven experience in electrical and instrumentation engineering
  • Experience with circuit diagrams, I/O lists, and control systems
  • Understanding of industrial communication systems

Preferred:

  • Experience with HVAC systems (highly desirable)
  • Offshore, marine, or industrial project experience
  • Knowledge of hazardous area requirements (ATEX/IECEx)
  • Familiarity with system integration and automation platforms
