About Upserve:
Upserve is rebuilding the restaurant POS platform for independent full-service restaurants. Restaurants today are navigating rising labor costs, staffing shortages, operational complexity, and increasing pressure from fragmented technology systems. Generic retail POS systems are not built for the realities of hospitality operations. Upserve helps independent restaurants improve service, increase revenue per table, and run more efficient operations through restaurant-native POS, payments, reporting, guest intelligence, and operational workflows designed specifically for hospitality.

The Role:
Upserve is seeking a Brand \& Marketing Designer to help shape and elevate the company’s visual identity across all customers and go-to-market touchpoints.
This role is responsible for:
Designing, marketing campaigns, sales collateral, website assets, social creative, event materials, product marketing visuals, and customer storytelling content.
The ideal candidate combines:
Strong visual design fundamentals, modern B2B SaaS marketing sensibilities, and the ability to create work that feels authentic to restaurant operators and hospitality culture.
This role works closely with
:
Marketing, Sales, Product Marketing, Customer Success, and external creative partners to create a cohesive, scalable brand experience.
What You’ll Own:
Brand Identity \& Visual Consistency:
● Help evolve and maintain Upserve’s visual identity across digital, sales, event, and customer-facing materials
● Ensure consistent application of typography, color systems, layouts, photography, and brand standards
● Support ongoing refinement of the Upserve brand system as the company scales
Sales \& GTM Creative:
● Design high-impact sales and marketing materials including pitch decks, one-pagers, battlecards, case studies, ROI calculators, and trade show collateral
● Help create visually compelling materials that support pipeline generation, competitive positioning, and sales conversion
Website \& Digital Marketing Design:
● Design and optimize landing pages, paid ad creative, email graphics, website assets, and conversion-focused digital experiences
● Partner with Marketing and RevOps to improve website engagement, conversion rates, and campaign performance
Customer Storytelling \& Hospitality Visuals:
● Help develop authentic customer storytelling assets including restaurant photography, testimonial graphics, customer videos, and social content
● Create visuals that reflect the realities and energy of hospitality operations
● Avoid generic SaaS or stock-heavy aesthetics in favor of authentic restaurant environments
Social Media \& Content Design:
● Design visual assets for social campaigns, webinars, newsletters, blogs, and thought leadership content
● Support brand visibility and audience engagement across owned channels
Event \& Field Marketing Design:
● Create visual assets for trade shows, partner events, restaurant conferences, and field marketing activations
● Design booth graphics, signage, swag concepts, presentation visuals, and experiential branding elements
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
● Partner closely with: Marketing, Product Marketing, Sales, RevOps, and Customer Success
● Collaborate with external freelancers, agencies, photographers, and video teams as needed
● Help translate GTM strategy into visually compelling execution
What Success Looks Like:
Within the first 6–12 months, this leader will:
● Help modernize and strengthen the Upserve visual brand
● Improve quality and consistency of GTM creative assets
● Support measurable improvements in campaign engagement, website conversion, and sales enablement effectiveness
● Create authentic restaurant-centric visual storytelling
● Establish scalable design systems and workflows
● Elevate Upserve’s market perception across digital and physical touchpoints
***Qualifications Required*
:**
● 3–6\+ years of brand, marketing, or visual design experience
● Strong portfolio demonstrating marketing campaigns, brand systems, digital design, and sales enablement assets
● Strong proficiency with Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and modern design workflows
● Strong understanding of typography, layout, visual hierarchy, and digital marketing creative
● Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-moving environment
Preferred Qualifications:
● Restaurant, hospitality, SaaS, fintech, payments, or SMB technology experience
● Experience designing for demand generation, B2B SaaS marketing, or sales-led organizations
● Familiarity with Marketing automation tools, Salesforce, social ad creative, and presentation design
● Experience collaborating with photographers, video teams, or event production vendors

Execution, storytelling, GTM impact, and creating a modern, differentiated market presence.
Why This Role is Worth Your Time:
$95,000- $115,000 base salary (DOE)
