Job Description
To support the Chief Operating Officer in driving business performance, operational efficiency, and strategic initiatives through data-driven insights, cross-functional coordination, and structured problem-solving.
Further, the role will be responsible for delivering actionable insights through data analysis, tracking key performance metrics, and supporting execution of strategic priorities to enhance overall business performance and profitability
1\. Business Performance \& Analytics
- Track and analyze key business KPIs across sales, supply chain, manufacturing, and distribution
- Develop dashboards and MIS reports for leadership review (weekly/monthly)
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to improve operational efficiency and profitability
2\. Strategic Support to COO
- Assist in preparing business reviews, presentations, and strategy decks for internal and external stakeholders
- Support execution of key strategic initiatives and transformation projects
- Conduct market, competitor, and industry analysis to support decision-making
3\. Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work closely with sales, marketing, supply chain, finance, and manufacturing teams
- Drive alignment on key projects and ensure timely execution of initiatives
- Act as a central point of coordination for COO-driven priorities
4\. Process Improvement \& Efficiency
- Identify gaps in existing processes and recommend improvements
- Drive automation and digitization initiatives (MIS, reporting, workflows)
- Monitor implementation and impact of process changes
5\. Data Management \& Reporting
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of data across systems
- Build and maintain reporting frameworks and data models
- Leverage tools like Excel, Power BI, or Tableau for insights
- MBA or equivalent qualification (Tier 1 college preferred)
- 5–7 years of experience in consulting, business analytics, or strategy roles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to derive actionable insights
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau
- Basic financial acumen including understanding of P\&L, cost structures, and business metrics
- Knowledge of Consumer Durables / FMCG / Manufacturing Industry (preferred)
- Experience in building dashboards, MIS, and reporting frameworks
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with high ownership
- Structured thinking with the ability to simplify complex problems
