Engineering Geologist

Appleone is currently seeking a Certified Engineering Geologist (CEG) for a stable engineering firm. This role will support our Geotechnical Engineering and Construction Testing \& Inspection teams. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate Geologist that values professional development and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct geological site investigations and provide detailed reports

• Assess geological hazards and provide foundation recommendations for engineering designs

• Perform field mapping, subsurface exploration and lab analysis of soil samples.

• Develop erosion control plans and advise on environmental impact considerations

• Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations

Qualifications:

• Education: BS/MS in Geology, Engineering Geology or related field

• Certification: CEG certification in CA required

• Experience: 5\+ years in engineering, project management, or related field.

• Skills: Strong knowledge of California geology, seismic risk assessment, and environmental regulations
