We are looking for a highly experienced
Senior Data Architect
with 12\+ years of experience in designing and implementing enterprise-scale data solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data architecture, data modeling, data warehousing, cloud platforms, and modern data ecosystems. This role requires excellent communication skills and the flexibility to relocate anywhere within the United States based on project needs.
Required Skills \& Experience:
12\+ years of experience in Data Architecture, Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, or related fields
Strong expertise in Data Modeling (Conceptual, Logical, and Physical)
Experience designing and implementing Data Warehouses, Data Lakes, and Lakehouse architectures
Hands-on experience with SQL and databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Snowflake, Teradata, or DB2
Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT frameworks and data integration methodologies
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and/or GCP
Knowledge of Big Data technologies including Spark, Databricks, Kafka, and Hadoop
Experience with Data Governance, Data Quality, Metadata Management, and Master Data Management (MDM)
Strong understanding of data security, compliance, and best practices
Excellent problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, Synapse, or BigQuery
Familiarity with Data Mesh, Data Fabric, and modern data architecture frameworks
Experience supporting enterprise analytics and reporting platforms
Cloud or Data-related certifications preferred
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop scalable enterprise data architectures.
- Create and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
- Architect cloud-based data platforms and modern data ecosystems.
- Define data integration, migration, and modernization strategies.
- Establish data governance, quality, security, and compliance standards.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and engineering teams.
- Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance across projects.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions.
