The Department of Environmental Quality/Office of Management and Finance has a vacancy.

The Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality’s (LDEQ) mission is to provide service to the people of Louisiana through comprehensive environmental protection in order to promote and protect health, safety and welfare.

Minimum Qualifications

Three years of experience in information technology, project management or business analysis; OR

Six years of full-time work experience in any field plus one year of experience in information technology, project management or business analysis; OR

An associate’s degree in information technology plus one year of experience in information technology, project management or business analysis; OR

A bachelor’s degree plus one year of experience in information technology, project management or business analysis; OR

A bachelor’s degree with twenty-four semester hours in an information technology, computer science, engineering, mathematics, or business analytics field; OR

A master’s degree.

Experience Substitution:

Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.

Note:

A certification in an approved area may be substituted for the education and/or experience requirements at the time of hire or promotion, provided the appointment is made from a Certificate of Eligibles.

Job Duties:

Job Duties and Other Information

  • Lead Tempo360 workgroups to gather requirements, evaluate enhancement requests, and guide system design and integration.
  • Coordinate Agile development efforts with OTS and contractors, including rollout planning, UAT, and issue resolution.
  • Design and maintain data structures for Tempo360 and RSP, including development of a comprehensive data directory.
  • Develop and deliver user training and documentation for new and existing system functionalities.
  • Oversee integration of the Mobile Inspection Platform and ensure seamless connection with Tempo360 and reporting tools.

This position will be filled as a job appointment (a temporary appointment not to exceed four years). it could be converted to a probational appointment should funding become available.
