AI Product Owner

Location: Remote (US) or Maryland-based

About the Role:

We are building an AI-native product focused on understanding how work is actually performed and using that insight to automate workflows through AI agents.

We are looking for a hands-on AI Product Owner to lead product strategy, roadmap execution, and delivery. You will work closely with engineering and leadership to build a product from the ground up, translating real-world processes into scalable AI-driven solutions.

What You’ll Do:

• Define and manage the AI product roadmap and backlog

• Translate business needs and user behavior into actionable product features

• Work closely with engineers to build and iterate on AI-driven capabilities

• Prioritize features based on impact, usability, and scalability

• Collaborate with stakeholders to align product direction with business goals

• Contribute to rapid prototyping and experimentation cycles

What Success Looks Like:

• A clear, actionable product roadmap aligned with real user workflows

• AI-driven features that improve efficiency and automate meaningful tasks

• Strong collaboration between product, engineering, and stakeholders

• Continuous iteration and improvement of the product based on real usage

Requirements:

• Experience working on AI-driven products or platforms

• Familiarity with AI ecosystems (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar)

• Strong ability to translate complex problems into simple product solutions

• Hands-on mindset with the ability to operate in early-stage product environments

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Profile:

• Experience building or contributing to products from scratch

• Comfort working in fast-paced, experimental environments

• Curiosity and willingness to explore new technologies and approaches
