About the Role

Mutual of Omaha Mortgage is seeking a

Technical Product Owner – AI

to own the performance, strategy, and lifecycle of its AI-driven products.

This is a

hands-on, technical product role

focused on taking AI solutions from

concept (0 → 1)

through launch and optimization. The ideal candidate will scope business problems, design and refine LLM prompts, collaborate closely with engineering and data teams, and drive measurable improvements in key business metrics such as:

• Conversion rate improvement
• Customer service containment
• Overall customer experience (CX) performance

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end ownership of AI-powered product features and experiences
• Define problem statements and translate business needs into AI-driven solutions
• Develop and iterate on

LLM prompts

to optimize performance outcomes

• Collaborate with engineering, data, and analytics teams to implement solutions
• Monitor product performance and drive continuous optimization
• Use data insights to improve conversion, efficiency, and customer experience

Key Requirements

• 5\+ years

in technical product management or applied AI/ML product roles

• Hands-on experience with

prompt engineering for LLM-based products

• Strong proficiency in

SQL

(Databricks, SQL Server, or similar platforms)

• Experience working with

Salesforce

(Product Owner, Admin, or advanced power user level)

• Mortgage industry experience is

preferred but not required
