We are looking for: Mechanical Engineer

You’ll make an impact by:

  • Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning \& Tolerancing, as well as fits and tolerances.
  • Ability to interpret General Arrangement, One-Line, and Physical Arrangement drawings of Switchgear and Switchboard
  • Capable of coordinating between Transformer, Busduct, and Switchgear/Switchboards.
  • Able to interpret and implement ANSI, NEMA, UL, and IEC standards related to low voltage in the manufacturing process.
  • Skilled in designing and modeling with Pro-Engineer Creo and releasing manufacturing and layout drawings through Team Center.
  • Provide guidance to customers and electrical engineers on drawing modifications to meet mechanical design specifications.
  • Attend customer meetings as required.
  • Ability to deliver optimal technical solutions to meet customer requirements.
  • Offer support and resolve any issues related to the engineered product during the manufacturing process.

Use your skills to move the world forward!

  • Graduate in Mechanical Engineering
  • 2-7 Years experience in mechanical design of sheet metal components.
  • Knowledge of components and assemblies for low voltage electrical apparatus.
  • Ability to design using Pro-Engineer Creo 2\.0, AutoCAD 2D and AutoCAD Revit will be an added advantage.
  • Prepare manufacturing and layout drawings for the assigned projects.
  • Experience with Geometric Dimensioning \& Tolerancing, fits and tolerances.
  • Ability to provide optimal technical solutions to customer’s requirements.
  • Provide support \& resolve issues of the engineered product during manufacturing.
