Role Description

The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) is a full-time, on-site leadership role. The CTO will oversee the end-to-end technology strategy for VerifAI, including software architecture, product development, Cyber security, and IT operations that support AI-powered background screening services. Day-to-day responsibilities include guiding engineering teams, setting technical standards, managing the product development lifecycle, and ensuring scalable, secure, and compliant systems. The CTO will collaborate closely with executive leadership to align technology initiatives with business goals, evaluate emerging technologies, and drive innovation across the platform. This role also involves mentoring technical staff, optimizing development processes, and establishing best practices for data governance, security, and performance.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Software Development and Product Development, with experience delivering scalable, customer-facing technology products.
• Proven experience in IT Strategy and Architecture, including designing secure, reliable, and high-availability systems.
• Stong Skill with Cyber security and skills on overseeing security features
• Demonstrated expertise in Project Management, leading cross-functional teams and managing complex technology initiatives end-to-end.
• Experience with AI, data-intensive systems, or background screening platforms is highly beneficial.
• Solid understanding of information security, compliance, and data privacy best practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively at all levels.
• Track record of building and mentoring diverse technical teams and fostering an inclusive, high-performance culture.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
