HR Manager Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Manager to join our dynamic team in San Francisco. This full-time, in-office position is ideal for someone with 5-10 years of experience in human resources management, looking to leverage their skills in a vibrant work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process to attract, hire, and retain top talent.
  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.
  • Nurture a positive working environment by setting up a robust performance management system.
  • Maintain pay plan and benefits program considering regular market analysis.
  • Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs that ensure staff skills match their job requirements.
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management, mitigating risks associated with employment regulations.

Required Skills

  • In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
  • Demonstrated experience in recruitment processes including job design, sourcing strategies, screening candidates, interviewing techniques, and candidate selection.
  • Adept at performance management systems that drive high performance among employees.
  • Strong understanding of payroll practices including compensation cycles, benefits administration, negotiations, and budgeting considerations related to staffing costs.

Secondary Skills

  • Strong business acumen with an ability to align people management strategies with business objectives.
  • Solid capability in budgeting financial resources for departmental functions aligned with organizational goals.
  • Evidence of strong analytical skills necessary for data-driven decision making including proficiency in data analysis tools relevant to human resources metrics and reporting.
