HR Manager Position
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Manager to join our dynamic team in San Francisco. This full-time, in-office position is ideal for someone with 5-10 years of experience in human resources management, looking to leverage their skills in a vibrant work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
- Manage the recruitment and selection process to attract, hire, and retain top talent.
- Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.
- Nurture a positive working environment by setting up a robust performance management system.
- Maintain pay plan and benefits program considering regular market analysis.
- Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs that ensure staff skills match their job requirements.
- Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management, mitigating risks associated with employment regulations.
Required Skills
- In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
- Demonstrated experience in recruitment processes including job design, sourcing strategies, screening candidates, interviewing techniques, and candidate selection.
- Adept at performance management systems that drive high performance among employees.
- Strong understanding of payroll practices including compensation cycles, benefits administration, negotiations, and budgeting considerations related to staffing costs.
Secondary Skills
- Strong business acumen with an ability to align people management strategies with business objectives.
- Solid capability in budgeting financial resources for departmental functions aligned with organizational goals.
- Evidence of strong analytical skills necessary for data-driven decision making including proficiency in data analysis tools relevant to human resources metrics and reporting.
