Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role based in Canggu, Bali, for a Year 6 Classroom Teacher at Canggu Community School (CCS). The Year 6 Classroom Teacher will design and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons aligned with the international curriculum and tailored to the needs of diverse learners. Responsibilities include developing comprehensive lesson plans, fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment, evaluating student progress, and communicating with parents and guardians to support student success. Teachers will also collaborate with colleagues, contribute to school-wide initiatives, and participate in professional development opportunities. The successful candidate will model the CCS values of learning, respect, balance, and engagement, inspiring students to become lifelong learners.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Lesson Planning and designing interactive, creative learning experiences
- Demonstrated expertise in Education and Teaching practices, with familiarity in international curricula
- Strong Communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues
- Experience in Training and mentoring students to meet their personal and academic goals
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant subject
- Teaching certification and a minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in a similar age group
- A commitment to fostering a diverse, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
- Passion for global citizenship and holistic education, aligned with the CCS core values
