, the business has over a century long heritage, serving and supplying the industrial power systems world.

They are now seeking to appoint an

Electrical Engineer

focussed on

Low Voltage \& Medium Voltage Switchgear, MCC’s, EEC’s \& VFD’s.

The overall objective of the job:

• Utilize electrical design software (AutoCAD Electrical) for electrical control systems, such as switchgear.
• Creation of point to point-wiring drawings for Electrical Equipment Centres (EEC or PDC or PCR), Low and Medium Voltage switchgear, Motor control centres (MCC’s), Utility panels.
• Communicate with electrical assembly department and wiring department with drawings, written instructions, and verbal instructions.
• Have a technical understanding of electrical component functionality and circuit design in order to create electrical drawings accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain awareness and knowledge of latest technology in Electrical Drafting processes and procedures.
• Develop wiring diagrams - based on provided sketches, mark-ups and directions.
• Assume responsibility, plan and execute assigned tasks to meet expectations (cost, quality and on time performance)
