Construction Superintendent

Our Client is a well-established Houston-based General Contractor who is seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee commercial construction projects throughout the Houston area. This company has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects across a variety of sectors and typically manages projects ranging from $100K to $15M.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Superintendent who enjoys working on diverse project types and staying involved throughout the full construction lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day field operations on commercial construction projects

• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and jobsite personnel

• Maintain project schedules and ensure milestones are met

• Enforce safety standards and maintain a safe jobsite

• Conduct site inspections to ensure quality and adherence to plans/specifications

• Work closely with Project Managers to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget

• Lead project execution from mobilization through project completion

• Maintain clear communication with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams

Qualifications

• 5\+ years of experience as a Superintendent with a commercial general contractor

• Experience managing commercial construction projects in the

$100K – $15M range

• Strong knowledge of construction scheduling, sequencing, and site logistics

• Ability to effectively manage subcontractors and maintain project timelines

• Strong communication and leadership skills

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
