About this Position

A growing technology consulting organization is seeking an experienced Sage 100 Consulting Manager to lead a long-standing and highly successful ERP client services practice focused on small and mid-sized businesses across North America.

This individual will play a key leadership role supporting a large, established client base while helping drive operational excellence, client retention, service optimization, and strategic growth initiatives across the practice. The ideal candidate brings a strong blend of ERP consulting leadership, client relationship management, operational oversight, and team development experience.

The Sage 100 Consulting Manager will oversee day-to-day consulting operations, implementation delivery, support services, upgrades, client success initiatives, and team utilization across a mature ERP consulting practice. This leader will work closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to help stabilize and optimize existing client operations while identifying opportunities to improve delivery models, streamline processes, and enhance overall customer experience.

The role requires a strong understanding of ERP consulting environments, particularly within Sage ecosystems, and experience supporting SMB and mid-market organizations across multiple industries.

This position will also partner closely with leadership across adjacent ERP practice areas to support broader organizational initiatives, operational alignment, and long-term strategic planning.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage consulting, implementation, and support teams within a mature ERP practice environment
  • Oversee day-to-day client delivery operations including implementations, upgrades, training, support, and integrated technology solutions
  • Drive high levels of client satisfaction and retention across a large existing customer base
  • Partner with leadership to identify operational efficiencies, improve delivery methodologies, and optimize team performance
  • Assist with Statements of Work (SOWs), forecasting, resource planning, utilization management, reporting, and operational accountability
  • Support strategic growth initiatives including service expansion opportunities and cross-functional collaboration across ERP practice areas
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to managers, consultants, and technical team members
  • Foster a positive, engaging, and collaborative team culture aligned with organizational values
  • Work closely with small and mid-sized business clients to understand operational needs and provide trusted advisory support
  • Help guide modernization and long-term transition planning initiatives within evolving ERP environments
  • Collaborate with leadership on strategic initiatives related to process optimization, client success, and organizational scalability
  • Contribute ideas around emerging technologies, automation, AI-enabled service offerings, and operational innovation

Job Requirements

  • 15\+ years of ERP consulting, implementation, or practice leadership experience.
  • Deep experience within Sage ERP environments, particularly Sage 100; exposure to Sage 300 strongly preferred.
  • Experience managing consulting or client delivery teams of 10\+ individuals including layered management structures.
  • Strong understanding of ERP implementations, upgrades, integrations, support operations, and client success models.
  • Proven ability to lead teams through operational change, optimization, or organizational transformation initiatives.
  • Experience supporting small to mid-sized business clients across multiple industries.
  • Strong business acumen with an ownership-oriented mindset.
  • Experience participating in or supporting merger \& acquisition integration efforts, practice consolidations, or operational scaling initiatives is highly preferred.
  • Comfortable working with mature product lines and long-term client support environments.
  • Strong communication, leadership, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to engage confidently with both technical teams and executive stakeholders.
  • Technical awareness of ERP architecture, integrations, cloud technologies, and related business applications preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary range: $150,000 to $180,000\.

This position is also eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan.
