Position Description:

The primary function of this role is to grow every one of our brands A-to-Z across our marketplace channels: Amazon, TikTok Shop, Walmart, and Ulta. Deep Amazon expertise is non-negotiable. This role owns marketplace strategy, the marketplace P\&L, purchasing and forecasting, and the team that executes against it. At SAYN, we treat our brands as our own. The Director is accountable for instilling that ownership mindset across the team, hitting growth targets, and pivoting quickly as the market and our AI tooling evolve.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Grow every SAYN brand in every aspect across all marketplace channels: Amazon, TikTok Shop, Walmart, and Ulta. Amazon represents roughly 80% of the business and is the top priority, but the Director is accountable for results across all four channels.
  • Directly manage, lead, and develop the Sales and Purchasing team. Set clear ownership for each brand and channel, coach the team on strategy and execution, and hold the bar high on accountability and growth mindset.
  • Own purchasing and demand forecasting end to end. Set the inventory plan, hold the team to it, and partner with Finance and Operations on supply, cash, and supplier relationships.
  • Own the multi-brand marketplace strategy and the consolidated P\&L. Translate company goals into brand- and channel-level roadmaps and make data-driven decisions on pricing, promotions, and investment.
  • Oversee listings, storefronts, advertising, BTPs, brand promotions, Subscribe \& Save, and case logs across all four marketplaces. Ensure the team uses our proprietary tools effectively and pulls every available growth lever on every channel.
  • Drive adoption of new AI integrations and agentic workflows across the team. Report regularly to the CEO on portfolio performance, risks, and opportunities, and communicate clearly across departments.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Has directly managed, led, and developed teams. This role is a people leader first.
  • Strong experience with e-commerce with expertise in Amazon Seller Central or Vendor Central. Amazon experience is required, not preferred. Experience on TikTok Shop, Walmart, and Ulta is strongly preferred.
  • Has owned purchasing and demand forecasting in a prior role and is comfortable owning a P\&L.
  • Works across functions without friction and brings the team along.
  • Gives feedback directly, takes it without flinching, and keeps moving.
  • Self-starter who thrives in a high-growth environment, takes wins and setbacks personally, and pivots quickly as priorities change. Comfortable adopting AI and agentic workflows across a team.
