Our headquarters are in NYC and this position will be based in the NYC area. This is a full-time/hybrid role.

Owned by Adwanted Group and part of Adwanted USA, SRDS has been the industry standard for media planning data for over 104 years. SRDS is continuously evolving to meet the changing needs of media planners and buyers. SRDS provides planning tools to help media buyers and sellers discover, evaluate, and transact with one another.

Role Description

SRDS has an exciting opportunity in our Sales Department for a Sales Development Representative (SDR). The SDR is responsible for hunting for new business and managing and maintaining Sales.

There is a strong emphasis on driving new business, as well as maintaining and growing our existing clients. We would expect this person to make strategic use of marketing and sales automation tools.

The ideal candidate will be tech savvy, have knowledge of the media research industry or have relevant industry experience.

The SDR will report to the Director of Sales.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· This is a hunter position with a small territory to manage

· Revenue goals are set through successful selling to existing clients and hunting for new business opportunities.

· Generate new business leads and build/nurture client relationships. Meet with potential clients and grow long-lasting relationships by understanding their needs.

· Work as a part of the sales team through consistent communication, sharing ideas and industry information and active participation in sales meetings.

· Log CRM activity on prospect accounts and any other sales effort tracking requirements.

· Order entry, billing and additional account management duties when necessary

· Maintains up-to-date knowledge about SRDS product information and current industry trends

QUALIFICATIONS

· Agency or media experience preferred but not required

· An understanding of media terminology and methodology preferred but not required

· Experience using CRM software (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot)

· Sales and/or marketing automation experience

· Able to work effectively in a TEAM environment

· Strong ability to generate new business opportunities

· Positive, enthusiastic, and a driven person who works well in a fast-paced environment

· Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize when necessary

COMPENSATION

-$45k -$50K salary \+ commission
