Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced Pipe Fitters/Welders to lay out, fabricate, and weld out flanged piping systems and related equipment in a shop environment. You will be responsible for interpreting blueprints, preparing pipes, and performing high-quality welds (TIG/MiG/Fluxcore) in various positions to meet specifications.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Fabrication \& Assembly:

Cut, assemble pipe sections using manual or power tools (saws, cutting torches, threaders).

• Fitting:

Perform precise fit-up of pipes, including saddle cuts, laterals, multi-segment mitered fittings and offsets according to blueprints.

• Welding:

Perform high-quality welding operations (GTAW/TIG / FCAW/Fluxcore) on carbon and stainless steel in all positions (6G).

• Blueprint Reading:

Interpret blueprints to determine material measurements, tolerances and layouts.

• Safety \& Testing:

Inspect completed welds/piping systems and maintain a clean, safe workspace.

• Tool Operation:

Utilize grinders, bevelers, jack heads, and other fabrication shop tools.

Qualifications and Skills

• Experience:

3–5\+ years of experience as a pipe fitter/welder in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

• Certifications:

AWS certifications (6G pipe) or ability to pass a 6G pipe test.

• Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for long periods, and work in a non-climate controlled shop environment.
