The Role

Operating within a mature corporate PMO structure and reporting directly to internal IT PMO Leadership, the Senior IT Project Manager will take full ownership of medium-to-large-scale software and technology projects. This is a high-visibility role requiring someone who can bridge the gap between technical delivery teams and senior business stakeholders to ensure the seamless deployment of state-of-the-art enterprise software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Delivery:

Direct the full lifecycle of multiple concurrent technology initiatives utilizing Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid frameworks.

  • Stakeholder Navigation:

Act as a trusted advisor to project sponsors, product owners, and executive leadership; facilitate prioritization discussions, manage delivery expectations, and effectively navigate change.

  • Project Controls \& Governance:

Maintain rigorous project documentation, artifacts, and compliance within the firm's internal delivery framework using modern portfolio management (PPM) tools.

  • Financial \& Risk Stewardship:

Oversee project budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Proactively identify, mitigate, and escalate risks, dependencies, and resource constraints.

  • Team Leadership:

Lead cross-functional working groups, project stand-ups, and retrospectives; foster a collaborative environment while driving accountability across distributed, multi-disciplinary teams.

What You Bring

  • Education \& Credentials:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. Active PMP, PMI-ACP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management credentials. A Prosci or related Change Management certification is highly desirable.

  • Professional Experience:

A proven track record as an IT Project Manager delivering diverse, high-quality software projects (both custom in-house builds and vendor-packaged solutions) within a regulated or professional services environment (e.g., legal, financial services, or global consulting).

  • Technical \& Methodological Acumen:

Strong foundational knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) alongside a solid understanding of core IT infrastructure/operations and corporate delivery frameworks.

  • Communication Style:

Exceptional relationship-building and conflict-resolution skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence senior management and push back on scope creep or change requests when necessary.

What’s on Offer

Our client is committed to attracting world-class talent and offers a comprehensive, highly competitive compensation package designed to support your holistic well-being:

  • Premium global health, dental, and vision coverage
  • Generous annual leave and vacation packages
  • Sponsored professional development, certifications, and continuous learning programs
