Job Description
We are seeking a Sr. Research Associate I with experience in protein purification and downstream process development. This role involves hands-on lab work supporting process development, optimization, and characterization activities.
Key Responsibilities
Perform protein purification experiments (chromatography, filtration, UF/DF)
Support process development and optimization activities
Analyze data and interpret experimental results
Troubleshoot process issues and suggest improvements
Present data and findings to internal teams
Collaborate with cross-functional teams
Support technology transfer to GMP manufacturing
Maintain proper documentation following cGMP guidelines
Required Qualifications
BS \+ 2\+ years OR MS in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field
Hands-on experience in downstream processing / protein purification
Experience with chromatography and TFF (UF/DF)
Basic understanding of cGMP environment
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with HPLC, SEC, CE or analytical methods
Knowledge of biologics (mAbs, ADCs, etc.)
Experience with process scale-up or tech transfer

On-site role in Oceanside, CA
9\+ month contract with possible extension
