Job Summary

The HR Business Partner is responsible for delivering day‑to‑day HR execution across assigned locations. This role partners closely with site and operations leaders to support employee relations, performance management, talent execution, engagement, and workforce management.

The HR Business Partner operates as the first point of contact for managers and employees, while escalating strategic, complex, or high‑risk matters to the Senior HR Manager as appropriate.

Job duties

Employee Relations

  • Conduct employee relations investigations and support disciplinary processes in alignment with company policy and labor requirements.
  • Provide conflict resolution support and coaching to managers.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders on employee relations matters, escalating complex or high‑risk issues to the Senior HR Manager.

Performance Management Execution

  • Support goal‑setting processes and ensure compliance with performance management timelines.
  • Provide guidance on performance documentation and corrective action.
  • Coach managers on performance conversations and execution.

Talent Management Execution

  • Support People Review processes by providing local insights and data.
  • Execute Individual Development Plans (IDPs) for high‑potential employees.
  • Support local leadership development and talent initiatives aligned with broader people priorities.

Workforce Management

  • Track and monitor headcount and workforce changes across assigned locations.
  • Monitor attrition trends and identify risks, escalating concerns as needed.
  • Coordinate closely with recruiting partners to support staffing needs and hiring activity.

Manager Support

  • Provide day‑to‑day HR guidance to managers on policies, procedures, and people decisions.
  • Interpret HR policies and ensure consistent application across locations.
  • Support managers through corrective action processes and documentation.

Engagement \& Culture Execution

  • Implement engagement survey action plans at the local level.
  • Support site‑level culture and engagement initiatives.
  • Assist with employee communications related to HR programs and initiatives.

Operational HR Metrics

  • Track and report on key HR metrics including turnover, attendance, and labor relations indicators.
  • Identify trends and provide insights to site leadership and the Senior HR Manager.
  • Support accurate and timely HR reporting.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Progressive experience in an HR Business Partner, HR Generalist, or similar role.
  • Hands‑on experience managing employee relations, investigations, and disciplinary processes.
  • Strong knowledge of HR policies, employment practices, and performance management processes.
  • Experience supporting managers in fast‑paced, operational environments.
  • Ability to balance day‑to‑day execution with sound judgment on when to escalate issues.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and coach leaders.
  • Comfort working with HR data, metrics, and workforce reporting.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities across assigned locations.
