Senior UX Researcher - Product & Platform (Remote)

We are seeking a Senior UX Researcher for a global B2B high-tech company. In this role, you will you'll lead UX research in our CMDB product space (within IT Operations Management and Service Operations). You’ll build strong relationships with cross-functional partners (product, design, engineering, both inbound and outbound), develop a deep understanding of our products and roadmaps, and proactively identify opportunities for research.

This is a 12-month contract (extensions possible), 40-hour per week remote role in the US.

This is a W2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee, with health benefits and 401K offered.

Responsibilities

• Partner closely with product, design, and engineering to identify research opportunities in ambiguous or evolving problem spaces.
• Build trusted relationships with stakeholders and leverage those relationships to influence product direction and decision-making.
• Define and lead end-to-end research (planning, alignment, recruiting, execution, synthesis, and storytelling).
• Navigate ambiguity by identifying the right questions, methods, and approach even when the path isn’t obvious.

Requirements

• 5\+ years of UX research experience.
• Experience with both foundational (e.g., JTBD, personas, journey mapping) and evaluative (e.g., usability, heuristic reviews) research.
• Research experience related to data integrations or complex systems.
• Proven track record conducting applied UX research using both qualitative and quantitative methods.
• Experience working with product telemetry or data pipelines.
• Strong relationship builder and influencer.
• Bachelor’s degree in HCI, Human Factors, Psychology, Social Sciences, Business, or related field.
• Portfolio or examples of prior research work demonstrating impact.

Compensation: $75/hr. - $80/hr.
