This role is focused on designing, developing, and optimizing complex Salesforce solutions that support large-scale enterprise business processes. The engineer will play a key role in building scalable and high-performance applications across the Salesforce ecosystem, ensuring seamless integration with external systems and alignment with business needs. Operating in a collaborative, distributed environment, the position involves close work with stakeholders, architects, and development teams across multiple regions. The role requires deep technical expertise across Salesforce development, integration, and DevOps practices. It offers the opportunity to contribute to enterprise-grade implementations spanning multiple clouds and business domains. This is a highly impactful position suited for an experienced Salesforce professional who can combine technical depth with strong communication and solution design skills.

Accountabilities

Responsibilities

The Salesforce Engineer is responsible for delivering robust, scalable, and well-integrated Salesforce solutions that support enterprise business operations and digital transformation initiatives. Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining Salesforce applications using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components (LWC/Aura), and Salesforce APIs
  • Architecting and customizing Salesforce solutions aligned with complex enterprise business requirements and processes
  • Building and maintaining integrations between Salesforce and third-party systems using REST/SOAP APIs, MuleSoft, or other middleware platforms
  • Ensuring strong data modeling practices, system performance optimization, and scalable architecture design
  • Implementing Salesforce DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, version control, and sandbox management strategies
  • Collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, including business teams, architects, and offshore/onshore development teams
  • Supporting multi-cloud implementations across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and additional Salesforce cloud offerings
  • Participating in agile development cycles, including sprint planning, estimation, and iterative delivery

Requirements

This role requires a highly experienced Salesforce professional with strong hands-on development expertise and deep knowledge of enterprise architecture and integration patterns.

  • 10\+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience
  • Strong expertise in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura components, and Salesforce APIs
  • Proven experience designing and implementing complex Salesforce solutions for enterprise environments
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data modeling, and performance tuning
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, MuleSoft, or similar middleware tools
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and version control systems
  • Experience working with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and at least one additional cloud (Marketing, Experience, or Health Cloud)
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience working in distributed teams
  • Experience in multi-org enterprise Salesforce environments is an asset
  • Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer II, Technical Architect, or equivalent are highly desirable
  • Familiarity with Einstein Analytics or Salesforce Data Cloud is considered a plus
