🔹 Role Summary
We are seeking a
Healthcare IT Project Manager
to lead the delivery of complex initiatives including EHR implementations (Oracle Health/Cerner), system modernization, and public health platforms. This role is responsible for driving project execution, managing cross-functional teams, and ensuring alignment with federal and state requirements. The ideal candidate brings strong stakeholder engagement, delivery leadership, and experience operating across consulting, contractor, and government environments.
🔹 Role Scope
- Lead
end-to-end project delivery
across healthcare IT implementations and modernization efforts
- Manage
cross-functional teams
spanning technical, clinical, and operational workstreams
- Serve as
primary liaison to federal/state stakeholders and vendors
- Ensure compliance with
regulatory, contractual, and organizational standards
✅ Key Responsibilities
- Manage full project lifecycle:
planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout
- Track
scope, risks, timelines, and deliverables
, ensuring timely resolution
- Coordinate teams and facilitate
status meetings, reporting, and executive updates
- Support
go-live readiness, compliance, and continuous process improvement
🎯 Required Qualifications
- 5–10\+ years of experience in
healthcare IT, project management, or consulting
- Experience delivering
large-scale healthcare IT or EHR implementations
- Exposure to
federal/state healthcare programs (VA, DoD, CMS, Medicaid)
- Hands-on experience with
EHR platforms (Cerner, Epic, etc.)
🌟 Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to travel
25–50%
and support critical milestones (e.g., go-live)
- Experience across
consulting, federal contracting, or government environments
- Strong adaptability to
changing priorities and regulatory requirements
- Commitment to
security, privacy, and compliance standards
💡 Preferred Skills
- PMP certification strongly preferred
- Experience with
Oracle Health (Cerner) implementations
- Knowledge of
federal contracting, Agile/Waterfall methodologies
- Strong stakeholder communication, governance, and reporting experience
COMPENSATION (EXTERNAL JOB DESCRIPTION ONLY)
The salary range for this position is
$100K-$130K
. Specific offers take into account a candidate’s education, experience and skills, as well as the candidate’s work location and internal equity. This position is also eligible for health insurance, 401k, and bonus opportunity.
