Robotics Engineer

to design, program, and integrate robotic automation systems for manufacturing and industrial automation projects.

Job Responsibilities

Robot Programming \& Integration

  • Develop and program industrial robots (e.g.

ABB, Fanuc, Kuka, Yaskawa, Universal Robots

).

  • Configure robot motion sequences and automation workflows.
  • Integrate robots with PLC systems, Conveyor systems, Sensors and safety devices, Machine vision systems.

Automation System Development

  • Participate in robotic cell design and automation system layout planning.
  • Work closely with mechanical and electrical engineers to ensure smooth system integration.
  • Perform cycle time optimization and robot reach study.

Testing \& Commissioning

  • Support Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) and Site Acceptance Test (SAT).
  • Perform installation, testing, and commissioning of robotic systems at customer sites.
  • Debug and troubleshoot system integration issues.

Troubleshooting \& System Support

  • Diagnose robotic system issues during commissioning and production.
  • Provide technical support for system improvements and upgrades.
  • Work with service teams to resolve customer technical issues.

Documentation

  • Prepare technical documentation including:
  • Robot programming documentation
  • System commissioning reports
  • Operation manuals and troubleshooting guides.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Robotics Engineering / Mechatronics Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Electrical / Electronics Engineering or related field.
  • 2–5 years experience in robotics or automation engineering
  • Experience in industrial robot programming and integration
  • Experience in automation machine development or system integration
  • Fresh graduates with strong robotics project experience may also be considered.
  • Industrial robot programming (ABB / Fanuc / Kuka / Yaskawa / UR)
  • Basic PLC knowledge (Siemens / Omron / Mitsubishi / Allen Bradley)
  • Robot IO and communication integration
  • Understanding of automation sensors and safety systems
  • Experience in automation commissioning and troubleshooting
  • RobotStudio / Roboguide / Kuka Sim
  • Visual Components or factory simulation tools
  • SolidWorks / AutoCAD
  • PLC programming tools (basic)
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and teamwork
  • Ability to work under project deadlines
  • Willingness to travel for project installation and commissioning.
