Role:
Business Analyst – Professional Services
Job Description:
We are looking for a team-oriented Business Analyst to support the analysis, documentation, and optimization of client business processes within Professional Services projects.
In this role, you will work closely with internal teams and external clients to understand business needs, map processes, and align them with product functionalities. You will contribute to improving operational efficiency and supporting successful solution implementations.
This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external clients to gather and define business and system requirements
- Analyze, document, and map current business processes using structured methodologies and tools
- Align client business processes with product features and functionalities
- Identify process gaps and propose solutions or improvements
- Support solution design and configuration activities
- Contribute to the evaluation, selection, and implementation of software applications and tools
- Assist with database-related topics, including data structure understanding (SQL Server knowledge is a plus)
- Provide guidance and support to development teams throughout the software lifecycle
- Participate in the creation and review of solution design documents, test strategies, and test plans
- Ensure proper documentation of processes, including flowcharts, manuals, and best practices
- Monitor progress of assigned workstreams and ensure timely delivery aligned with project goals
- Provide regular status updates and reporting to stakeholders, including project scorecards
Technical Skills:
- 6\+ years overall experience in business analysis, including requirements elicitation, process mapping (As-Is / To-Be) and gap analysis
- Strong knowledge of Telecommunications domain, especially OSS and Inventory systems, with exposure to COTS platforms (e.g., Cramer, Granite)
- Good understanding of system integration concepts and end-to-end solution architecture
- Hands-on experience with SQL Server (data analysis, querying, basic database design understanding)
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
- Experience using process mapping tools (e.g., Visio or BPM tools) for documenting workflows and business processes
- Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to collaborate with technical teams (developers, DBAs) and translate business requirements into technical specifications
Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills, with ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Good stakeholder management and facilitation skills (e.g., workshops, requirement sessions)
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and structured approach to documentation
- Proactive mindset with a high level of ownership and accountability
- Ability to work both independently and within cross-functional teams
Nice to have
- Experience with test management tools and test documentation
- Exposure to API-based integrations or system interfaces
- Basic understanding of reporting and dashboards
