Director Engineering, Traffic & Networking

For our client, we are seeking a Director Engineering Traffic \& Networking to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space. This role will lead technical work focused on cloud-enabled scalability, reliability, and delivery excellence. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a technology-driven environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $150,000 – $200,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Manage a globally distributed team overseeing the programmable interface of the networking fabric
• Act as the technical lead to define vision, roadmap, and project execution
• Mentor management and individual contributors to enhance their expertise in networking technologies
• Drive impactful cross-team projects to innovate platform capabilities for real time streaming
• Foster collaboration across product pillars for differentiated value delivery

Qualifications

• 10\+ years of experience leading technically proficient teams (12 or more members)
• Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure with a focus on Kubernetes and cloud networking
• Proven expertise in developing high-scalable distributed cloud native applications
• Experience in building SaaS products and platforms
