Job Description
A contract Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Calhoun, GA, supporting school-based speech therapy services in both compensatory and elementary school settings. This role offers a chance to make a meaningful impact on student success across multiple grade levels, from Pre-K through 12th grade.
Position 1: Compensatory Services
- Provide onsite speech therapy across several school locations, requiring travel between sites.
- Address and complete compensatory service needs for students.
- Manage a caseload that is balanced and manageable.
- Deliver services to students across all grade levels, Pre-K through 12\.
- Summer services required from June 1 through June 30\.
Position 2: Elementary School-Based
- Work onsite at a single elementary school.
- Handle a caseload of approximately 45 to 55 students, Pre-K through 6th grade.
- Document services proficiently using the Paddynet platform.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong communication skills with parents, teachers, staff, and administration via email, phone, and school communication systems.
- Ability to coordinate scheduling using Google Calendar, including IEP meetings and parent conferences.
- Experience completing and documenting evaluations, eligibilities, IEPs, and data analysis.
