Cybersecurity Analyst

We are looking for a skilled Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team in Cleveland, Ohio. In this role, you will focus on ensuring the security of cloud-based systems and applications, leveraging your expertise in Microsoft Azure, Zero Trust principles, and advanced security technologies. This position offers an opportunity to play a vital role in protecting sensitive data and maintaining compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and address security alerts in Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Azure Sentinel, and Azure Security Center.

• Configure and manage identity and access controls using Azure Active Directory, role-based access management, and multi-factor authentication.

• Implement and enforce security controls, ensuring systems align with industry frameworks and compliance standards.

• Analyze security logs and investigate alerts to support threat detection and incident response.

• Secure virtual networks and endpoints within Azure environments.

• Deploy and manage encryption strategies, to protect sensitive data.

• Assist with security audits, cloud risk assessments, and compliance evaluations.

• Collaborate with senior engineers to enhance security measures and respond to emerging threats.

• Optimize firewall technologies and policies to strengthen network defenses.

• Contribute to the development and improvement of cybersecurity policies and procedures.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in cybersecurity or a related field.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Azure, including Azure Stack and Azure Sentinel.

• Strong knowledge of Zero Trust architecture and cloud security practices.

• Familiarity with SIEM tools and threat detection methodologies.

• Experience with firewall administration and network security technologies.

• Understanding of data encryption techniques and application security.

• Comptia Security\+ certification or equivalent credentials.

• Ability to analyze and respond to security incidents with precision and efficiency.
