Job Description

We are looking for a Principal Product Marketing Manager to help the global Product Marketing team to drive customer and revenue growth and reinforce our leadership position in the market through compelling value-driven assets and campaigns. In this role, you will own the full product marketing lifecycle for ThoughtSpot’s flagship analytics agent.

This role is ideal for a product marketer who wants to go deep on a single, high-impact product. You'll combine strong strategic instincts with hands-on execution, from joining customer calls to leading cross-functional launches.

Your key performance indicators will include improving product line ARR, boosting product activation and adoption (NRR), increasing competitive win rates, and driving expansion plays. This role requires building strong cross-functional relationships with teams including product management, sales, sales engineering, and the broader marketing team to create long-term value for our customers and the business.

What You’ll do:

Product Positioning \& Narrative

  • Define and own the positioning and messaging for our agentic capabilities, including our flagship analytics agent.
  • Own the competitive differentiation story to ensure our agent stands out in a crowded and fast-moving market
  • Translate technical capabilities into clear value propositions for data leaders, AI leaders, and business leaders
  • Craft the Why Now story that connects market trends in agentic AI to customer outcomes

Go-to-Market Strategy \& Launches

  • Own the full GTM plan for major releases, coordinating across brand, social, DG, PR, and sales
  • Drive cross-functional coordination across product, demand gen, and comms to drive awareness, pipeline, and adoption
  • Align messaging and campaign strategy across field, customer marketing, and partner marketing teams

Content \& Thought Leadership

  • Drive the content strategy for Agents track, including solution briefs, blogs, landing pages, webinars, and videos
  • Partner with technical teams to craft compelling demos that showcase the product in action
  • Partner with customer marketing on case studies and user stories that bring the product narrative to life

Sales Enablement \& Competitive Intelligence

  • Equip the sales team with enablement materials and training that clearly convey the product's differentiated value
  • Work with Competitive Intelligence teams on battlecards, discovery guides, and talk tracks to support competitive positioning
  • Serve as the voice of the customer for field teams and help refine messaging based on direct feedback

Customer \& Market Insight

  • Conduct win/loss analysis, join customer and prospect calls, and synthesize feedback to inform product and marketing strategy
  • Partner with product and customer success to drive activation, usage, and expansion within the existing base

Product Partnership

  • Provide strategic input to product teams on roadmap priorities, customer needs, and competitive insights
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, UX, and engineering to bring user empathy into the product experience

What you'll bring:

  • 6-8 years in product marketing or solution marketing in B2B SaaS. Analytics or data platform experience is a plus but not required.
  • Proven track record of owning positioning, go-to-market strategy, and launches for a product area
  • Experienced at building strong working relationships with product, sales, and engineering teams and influencing without authority
  • Comfortable tying marketing efforts back to business outcomes — pipeline, adoption, competitive win rates, and expansion
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated success in content creation across formats — video scripts, long-form assets, social copy, web pages.

Preferred:

  • Background or experience with platforms like ThoughtSpot, Looker, Power BI, Notion, or Airtable
  • Understanding of internal and external analytics, mobile BI, or enterprise integrations
  • Familiarity with the modern data stack (e.g., Snowflake, dbt, Monte Carlo, Fivetran)
  • Prior experience in a high-growth environment or working on multi-product platforms
