Salary: $90,000 - $115,000 per year

We are looking for a 2-4 year of experience mechanical engineer to join our growing Charleston team, building design/HVAC experience, ideally with an E.I.T

Job Details

The Mechanical Engineer will collaborate with the Buildings Mechanical Design team, contributing to all aspects of commercial building engineering. Responsibilities include:

• Designing HVAC systems
• Designing plumbing systems
• Developing performance-based fire protection systems
• Conducting code analysis
• Performing energy modeling
• Designing laboratory and medical gas systems
• Preparing LEED and Green Globes documentation
• Performing life cycle cost analysis

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university
• 1 to 4 years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience in HVAC systems design

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional Engineer (PE) license
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification
