Business Analyst

SUMMARY: Our client, a global investment management firm is seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Analyst in NY to support the investment, asset management and accounting/finance teams in a division of the company. This role operates at the intersection of real estate, technology, and data.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Hands-On Execution. Actively engage in day-to-day delivery of projects—gathering requirements, building reports, and developing automations alongside the team.

Translate complex business needs into functional and technical specifications.

Analyze and redesign workflows to drive efficiency and remove manual processes.

Technical Enablement. Data modeling, API integration planning, process mapping, and system design. Act as a subject matter expert in areas such as SQL, DAX, Power Query, REST APIs, and business intelligence tooling. Project Management \& Change Enablement

QUALIFICATIONS: 3-6 years of relevant experience within commercial real estate. Proficient in process mapping, workflow automation, data modeling, and BI development. Power BI, DAX, Power Query, Power Automate or other RPA platforms, SQL, REST API integration. Process mapping tools (Miro, Lucidchart, Visio)

EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting, economics, information systems, or related field required.
