Salary/Compensation Statement:
- Hourly wage reflects an approximate annual salary of $73,202 – $107,353\.
- New employees may not be placed on the salary schedule higher than any current employee in this classification with the same or greater number of years’ relevant experience.

- Lane Community College is considered a qualifying public employer for the purposes of the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program. Through the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program, full-time employees working at the College may qualify for forgiveness of the remaining balance on Direct Loans after 120 qualifying monthly payments under a qualifying repayment plan. Required Qualifications
Required Education:
- Associate’s degree.
OR* Three (3) \+ years of equivalent experience in a related field.
Required Experience:
- Database development experience, including structures and design concepts.
- Two (2) recent years of experience in software development or network/system administration or equivalent educational experience.
- Knowledge of SoftDocs.

Preferred Education
- A Bachelor’s in computer science, computer engineering, programming, network administration, or a related field.
- Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent).

- Relevant technical certifications (Oracle, Linux/UNIX, cloud platforms, or integration tools)
- Direct experience working with Ellucian Banner (Student, HR, Finance, Financial Aid modules)
- Experience in higher education IT environments, particularly with SIS ecosystems

Position Purpose:
This position exists to analyze, design and program software and systems in support of critical college services and operations.
Essential Functions:
- Banner technical support, academic data, registration, catalog, HR section building, finance, and financial aid modules
- Coordinating and managing the work of IT projects
- Softdocs administratration
- ISE administrator
- Third party software integration with current systems
- FWI administrator
- Banner security access administrator
- Scrum Master duties in a sprint, which include coaching the team towards completion of tasks, managing the technical requirements needed to do the work, and removing impediments to getting the work completed.
- Build LCC jobs for reporting and updates
- Argos reporting
- Assist and create automation efforts
- Create Knowledge Base documents
- Create and maintain IT documentation for various systems and processes
- Analyzing and developing systems and parts of systems
- UNIX data structure and data file support
- Learn and export new software tools, convert existing programs to new software; system upgrades as needed
- Create and maintain software used to integrate the Banner ERP system with third-party systems
- Research, design, and coordinate integrations that will further help efficiency and ease-of-access to LCC products and data across the college
- Software Provisioning
- Diagnoses and resolves application software problems
- Participating in Agile scrum events, programming projects and weekly programmer meetings
- Designs, develops, tests and implements complex software systems and creates functional and design specifications for proposed software
- Work without direct supervision
- Understands problems from a broad, interactive perspective. Can develop and implement information in new ways. This is “uncharted” work
- Problem solve and manage sensitive information with appropriate awareness of HIPAA/FERPA standards; maintain confidentiality and sensitivity to the privacy needs of students

Physical Demands/Working Environment:
This position works indoors and is exposed to usual office working conditions that includes office noises and interruptions, such as printers, telephones, and visitors. This position requires that an employee be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time; perform cognitive and psychometric work for more than six (6) hours a day. Work may require transporting materials up to twenty-five (25) pounds. Work Safely.
