Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead the technical vision, architecture, and execution of a rapidly growing AI-driven platform.

This role is ideal for a technical leader who is equally comfortable setting strategy and rolling up their sleeves, with experience across AI systems, software development, and hardware or infrastructure environments.

The CTO will play a critical role in scaling multiple AI platforms, including customer-facing systems and advanced AI technologies used to identify and analyze natural resources.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the

technical vision and roadmap

across multiple AI-driven platforms

• Lead architecture and scaling of

AI systems, data platforms, and infrastructure

• Remain hands-on with

software development, system design, and technical troubleshooting

• Oversee integration of

AI models, data pipelines, and production systems

• Ensure reliability and performance across both

software and hardware environments

• Support and optimize

conversational AI and automation systems in production

• Oversee development and enhancement of

AI systems used for geospatial analysis and resource detection

• Collaborate with leadership on

product direction, scalability, and technical strategy

• Build and lead a high-performing

engineering and AI team over time

What You’ll Be Working On

• A live, production-level

AI platform actively engaging with customers and driving revenue

• AI systems already deployed with enterprise clients, including organizations such as Disney and The Home Depot
• An advanced AI system that analyzes data to

identify potential locations of valuable natural resources, including precious metals

• Scaling both the

technology and infrastructure

behind AI-driven automation and discovery platforms

Ideal Candidate

• 10\+ years of experience in

software engineering, systems architecture, or technical leadership

• Recent, hands-on experience with

software development and system support

• Experience working with or supporting

hardware, infrastructure, or edge environments

• Strong background in

AI/ML, NLP, or data-driven systems

• Experience with

geospatial data, remote sensing, or large-scale data analysis

is a strong plus

• Experience taking systems from

development to production at scale

• Comfortable operating in a

startup or high-growth environment

• Ability to balance

technical depth with strategic leadership

Technical Expertise (Preferred)

• AI/ML frameworks, LLMs, NLP, or advanced analytics
• Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
• Backend development (Python, APIs, distributed systems)
• Data pipelines, MLOps, and system integration
• Infrastructure, networking, or hardware-related environments
• Geospatial tools or data processing (nice to have)
