Role Description
The Guerilla Marketing Coordinator is a full-time remote role responsible for planning and executing unconventional, high-impact marketing activations that support client campaigns. This role coordinates street teams, pop-up experiences, and other experiential stunts, ensuring all activities align with client objectives and brand guidelines. The coordinator collaborates with internal teams and external partners to schedule events, secure permits when needed, manage vendor relationships, and track budgets and timelines. Daily responsibilities include drafting event briefs, organizing logistics, preparing materials, tracking performance metrics, and compiling post-campaign reports. The role also involves ongoing communication with clients and teammates to refine concepts, troubleshoot issues in real time, and continuously improve campaign effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication skills, including clear verbal, written, and interpersonal abilities to coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
- Sales and relationship-building skills to support client proposals, negotiate with partners, and advocate for guerilla concepts and execution plans.
- Event Planning and Project Management skills to organize logistics, manage timelines and budgets, coordinate resources, and ensure smooth on-the-ground execution.
- Writing skills to develop event briefs, recaps, basic campaign copy, and internal documentation for guerilla marketing activations.
- Experience or interest in guerilla, experiential, or OOH marketing, with a creative mindset and comfort working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and adapt quickly to last-minute changes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Familiarity with basic marketing analytics and reporting tools to evaluate campaign performance is a plus.
