Laboratory Specialist

Lab Associate / Laboratory Support (Cell Biology / Biotech)

We’re hiring a Lab Associate to support a fast-moving biotech team working across stem cells, molecular biology, and early-stage research programs.

This is a hands-on, high-output role.

You’ll be keeping the lab running, supporting experiments, and making sure nothing slows down. If you like structure, predictability, and doing the same thing every day—this isn’t it.

What you’ll be doing

• Support day-to-day lab operations and experimental workflows
• Maintain and monitor cell cultures (hESCs, iPSCs, differentiated cells)
• Assist with 2D and 3D cell culture systems
• Prepare media, reagents, and lab materials
• Support molecular biology work:
• PCR / qPCR
• Western blot / ELISA
• Basic protein \& nucleic acid analysis
• Assist with cryopreservation, passaging, and cell expansion
• Maintain lab cleanliness, organization, and equipment
• Manage inventory, ordering, and sample tracking
• Document experiments, update SOPs, and maintain records
• Support data collection and basic analysis
• Help troubleshoot when things don’t go to plan

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, or related field
• 1–3 years of lab experience (biotech or research environment)
• Hands-on experience with cell culture and basic lab techniques
• Familiarity with BSL-2 environments and aseptic technique
• Exposure to molecular biology methods (PCR, Western blot, etc.)
