About the Company
Develop and improve new and current product lines. Manage the diagnosis and improvement of products when needed.
About the Role
Design, develop, and implement embedded firmware or embedded software. Generate firmware description, flow chart and block diagram as required.
Responsibilities
- Work with internal and external resources on design optimization
- Plan and create effective test protocols to verify and validate engineering designs to product requirements
- Support general software request from other departments
- Support of returned product review including implementation of preventive or corrective actions
- Uses a combination of logic, experience, analysis, and methodologies to make solid, timely decisions and solve problems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in electrical or Computer Engineering with 2 to 5 years of relative experience.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience with embedded firmware development.
- Working experience with using CAD software to edit schematics and debugging tools.
- Working knowledge in mix signal peripheral.
- Strong skills in using lab equipment (e.g. Oscilloscope, function generator).
- Familiarity and some practical experience with the manufacturing process (i.e. boot loader, in circuit parameter tester).
- Strong oral communications skills (English)
- Experience with PIC, ARM, CORTEX.
Required Skills
- Experience writing in Forth programming language is highly desired.
- Electrical engineering or computer engineering related BS or MS degree.
- Working experience in small embedded systems
- Working experience in digital communications protocols such as Ethernet, 802\.11x, 802\.15\.4, USB, Bluetooth, etc.
- Working experience in software development in Visual Basic
- Experience working with Linux
