Overview
As an entry level Data Engineer, you will contribute to high-scale pipelines that capture, process, and deliver
clickstream data
across the enterprise. This data is the lifeblood of our organization—it powers real-time
Marketing
,
personalization
, and provides the
Analytics
that drive our product strategy.
Responsibilities
- Develop feature enhancements to high throughput real-time and batch pipelines
- Contribute to observability and operational excellence of business critical pipelines
- Contribute to modernization efforts to bring meaningful difference in quality , availability and performance for thousands of internal data consumers
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Programming: Proficiency in Java and Python.
- Data Engineering : Understanding of data engineering concepts and atleast 6-9 months of working experience developing / managing real-time and batch pipelines in spark and flink.
- SQL Fundamentals: Strong ability to write queries (Joins, CTAs, Group Bys).
- Academic Background: B.S. in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related technical field (Recent grads are encouraged!).
- CS Foundations: Understanding of Data Structures (Hashes, Lists, Trees) and how they impact processing speed.
- Version Control: Basic Git skills (pull requests, branching, resolving merge conflicts).
