Job Description
A financial firm is looking for a
Salesforce Developer
to join their team in New York, NY.
Pay: $110-115/hr
US Citizens or GC Holders Only; No Visa Sponsorship
Role is Hybrid; Candidates must be local
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to design and implement products throughout the PDLC including coding, testing, and documentation independently
- Work with Product Owner and Scrum Master in an Agile environment to improve velocity on a product delivery
- Collaborate with product owners and development team members to implement front-end POCs from concept to product delivery
- Work as cross-functional team player to augment the squad needs as needed
Qualifications:
- 7\+ years of experience salesforce technical implementation leveraging Salesforce platforms related to Service, Experience, Marketing, Sales cloud, etc.
- 6\+ years of experience expertise in configuring Custom Objects \& Fields, Validation Rules, Flows, Approval Processes \& Reports and Dashboards
- Strong functional knowledge of CRM modules Contact/Accounts, Case Management, Interacting tagging
- Configuring Salesforce platform/module extensively and promoting no-code/low-code for simple to moderate business solutions
- 2\+ years of experience in designing and creation of packages for multi org deployment to promote reuse and time to market; reuseable component library
- 4\+ years of experience with integrating Salesforce with external systems and Apex Development experience
- 3\+ years of experience in Lightning Web Components
- 5\+ years’ experience in Salesforce Flows and Process Automation: Strong understanding of automation tools like Process Builder, Flow Builder, and approval processes.
- Expertise in Salesforce Object Query Language (SOQL)/Data Modeling optimizing database schema for performance and scalability
- Knowledge of the modern Salesforce UI framework, including designing custom Lightning pages and components
- Proficiency in integrating Salesforce with external systems through REST/SOAP APIs
- Familiarity with integration platforms like MuleSoft, etc.
- Experience in migrating large datasets to Salesforce, including using tools like Data Loader, or third-party tools
- Strong knowledge of managing users, profiles, permission sets, OWD, Role, sharing rules
- Expertise in building reports, dashboards, and analytical views that align with business needs
- Experience in reporting/analytical tools such as CRMA, PowerBI, Tableau is preferred
- Experience in evaluating and implementing third-party applications from Salesforce’s AppExchange
- Expertise in Security Center and other Salesforce governance/admin/optimization tools
- Version Control for managing code changes
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and Salesforce’s DevOps lifecycle, ensuring smooth deployments to multiple environments
- Deep understanding of Salesforce's governor limits and how to optimize code to avoid hitting these limits
- Experience in ensuring clean, readable, and maintainable code through regular code reviews and refactoring
