Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion consultant to support the creation, configuration, validation, and documentation of new Business Units (BU) and Inventory Organizations (IO) within Oracle Fusion Cloud.

This resource must be fluent in Spanish and able to work directly with client business users, IT, Finance, Operations, and Oracle support teams in a Mexico-based environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and validate requirements for new branches, Business Units, and Inventory Organizations.
• Configure or guide the configuration of new BUs and IOs in Oracle Fusion Cloud.
• Assess setup dependencies across legal entities, ledgers, cost organizations, locations, warehouses, procurement, inventory, order management, intercompany, and reporting.
• Identify security, role, and data access impacts related to the new BU / IO structure.
• Support testing of end-to-end transactions, including procurement, receiving, inventory movement, sales/order processing, and reporting where applicable.
• Document configuration decisions, assumptions, dependencies, risks, and open issues.
• Provide Spanish-language knowledge transfer to the client’s Oracle support team.

Required Experience

• Hands-on Oracle Fusion Cloud experience creating or supporting Business Units and Inventory Organizations.
• Strong understanding of Oracle Fusion enterprise structures and how BU / IO configuration impacts Finance, SCM, Procurement, Inventory, and Reporting.
• Experience with role-based access, data access, BU-level security, and approval/security implications.
• Ability to lead working sessions in Spanish with business and technical stakeholders.
• Prior experience in multi-branch, manufacturing, distribution, construction materials, or plant-based operating environments strongly preferred.

Ideal Profile

The ideal resource is a practical, hands-on Oracle Fusion consultant who has previously created new branches, BUs, IOs, warehouses, or plant-level operating structures. They should understand not only the configuration steps, but also the downstream operational, financial, reporting, security, and controls implications.
