We're looking for a
People \& Culture Generalist
to join our Shared Service Center in
Budapest
. This is an exciting opportunity for an HR professional with a solid foundation in operations and employee support who wants to make a real impact across the full employee lifecycle. In this role, you'll help deliver people initiatives, keep HR operations running smoothly, and support employees and managers with care, professionalism, and energy.
What you'll do
Own The Essentials Of HR Operations
You'll help ensure day-to-day HR processes run accurately and efficiently, including employee data management, contracts and HR documentation, maintaining HR systems and personnel records, and supporting payroll processes. You'll also serve as a first point of contact for employee queries and identify ways to continuously improve HR administration.
Support Great Hiring Experiences
You'll contribute to recruitment activities such as job postings, screening, interview coordination, background checks, and onboarding, while partnering with hiring managers to ensure candidates have a positive experience throughout the process.
Be a trusted partner to employees and managers
You'll provide guidance on HR policies and procedures, support employee relations matters, and help foster a positive, engaging workplace culture.
Contribute to growth and development
You'll assist with performance management and work with the Corporate Learning \& Development team to support global learning initiatives. You'll also help identify local development needs and oversee employee development plans.
Drive compliance and continuous improvement
You'll help ensure compliance with local labor laws and internal policies, support the development and rollout of HR processes, and update employee manuals and handbooks. You'll also contribute to broader HR projects related to engagement, culture, diversity and inclusion, and process improvement.
Requirements
What you bring
We're looking for someone who combines strong HR fundamentals with a proactive, people-first mindset. Ideally, you have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in an HR support or coordination role in an English-language work environment
- Good knowledge of HR practices, employment legislation, and payroll processes
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a high standard of internal and external customer service
- A professional, proactive, and detail-oriented approach
- The ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and stay hands-on in a fast-paced environment
- Confidence using office software tools
