Cloud Architect

Job Title: Cloud Engineer / Cloud Architect – Azure \& AWS Landing Zones

Role Overview:-

We are seeking a hands-on Cloud Architect (5–15\+ years) to architect, build, and govern enterprise-scale cloud landing zones across Azure and AWS. This role requires deep expertise in Azure Landing Zones, strong AWS platform architecture, and the ability to translate Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) principles into secure, scalable, and production-ready cloud foundations.

The architect will own the end-to-end landing zone lifecycle—from strategy and design to implementation, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:-

Cloud Platform Architecture

• Own and define enterprise landing zone architectures for Azure and AWS
• Design secure, scalable, multi-subscription / multi-account cloud foundations
• Establish reference architectures aligned with CAF and Well-Architected Frameworks
• Act as design authority for cloud platform decisions

CAF \& Governance Implementation

• Translate CAF pillars into practical technical designs
• Embed governance, security, and cost controls by design
• Define guardrails for compliance, risk, and operational maturity

Landing Zone Implementation (Hands-On)

• Design and implement landing zones using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Azure: Management Groups, Subscriptions, Entra ID, RBAC, Policies, Hub‑Spoke / vWAN
• AWS: AWS Organizations, IAM, network and security baselines
• Troubleshoot complex platform, identity, and connectivity issues

Security \& Networking Architecture

• Architect Zero Trust and security-by-design platforms
• Implement governance using Azure Policy, RBAC, PIM, and AWS SCPs
• Design enterprise networking, centralized shared services, and secure ingress/egress
• Architect hybrid and multi‑cloud connectivity (VPN, ExpressRoute, Direct Connect)

Automation \& Operations Readiness

• Define IaC standards, reusable modules, and CI/CD integration
• Ensure Day‑1 operational readiness: logging, monitoring, alerting, audit trails
• Prevent configuration drift through automation and standardization

Cost \& Scale Enablement

• Embed FinOps principles into platform architecture
• Enable rapid workload onboarding, platform scale, and cost visibility

Required Skills \& Experience:-

• 5–15\+ years of IT experience with strong cloud architecture focus
• Proven hands-on experience designing Azure Landing Zones
• Strong AWS platform and organization-level architecture skills
• Deep expertise in cloud governance, security, and enterprise networking
• Hands-on IaC experience (Terraform, Azure Bicep/ARM, CloudFormation)
• Ability to guide engineers while remaining hands-on

Preferred Qualifications:-

• Azure and/or AWS Architect-level certifications
• Multi-cloud or hybrid cloud architecture experience
• Experience in large enterprise or regulated environments
