The Role
We’re looking for a WordPress Developer who excels at two core things: scraping and migrating
content from old attorney websites, and turning Figma designs into clean, high-performing WordPress templates. You will play a key role in our client onboarding process by cleaning up technical debt from previous sites and building new, optimized WordPress websites from design files.
What You’ll Do
•
Scrape and migrate content from old attorney websites during client onboarding
•
Convert Figma designs into fully functional WordPress templates/themes
•
Perform technical cleanup — remove remnant content, metadata, and cross-client links from cloned or reused sections
•
Implement performance optimizations using image optimization, minify, and caching plugins (WP Rocket, WP-Optimize, Auto-Optimize, etc.)
•
Ensure websites are mobile-responsive and test on real devices
•
Set up proper schema markup, Google Maps integration, and technical SEO elements where
needed
•
Maintain clean code and follow best practices for speed and maintainability
•
Collaborate with designers, SEO team, and QA to deliver high-quality client websites
What We’re Looking For
• 5
\+ years of professional WordPress development experience
•
Strong experience migrating/scraping content from existing websites
•
Proven ability to convert Figma designs into clean WordPress templates
•
Deep understanding of WordPress performance plugins (image optimization, minification, caching)
•
Strong understanding of SEO principals \& structure
•
Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript within WordPress
•
Experience with technical cleanup and preventing cross-site contamination issues
• Bonus:
Experience building websites for law firms or professional services
• Bonus:
Familiarity with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) and custom post types
