Job Summary (Database Developer – Iselin NJ)
- Develop, manage, and optimize relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle).
- Write and tune complex SQL, T-SQL, PL/SQL queries and stored procedures.
- Utilize Python for database-related tasks as needed.
- Perform database modeling using tools like ERWin or PowerDesigner.
- Conduct data analysis, gather and interpret large datasets.
- Perform unit testing and ensure data integrity.
- Apply shell scripting and work in UNIX environments.
- Collaborate in Agile and global delivery team settings.
- Use JIRA and Confluence for project tracking and documentation.
- Establish and follow end-to-end SDLC and DevOps practices.
- Partner with business stakeholders and communicate effectively.
- Optimize query performance and conduct performance tuning.
- Prefer candidates with financial industry experience.
