Job Description

TITLE: HRIS Analyst - Workday (Hybrid – North Dallas, Texas)

Direct Hire Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented HRIS Analyst with strong Workday experience to support and optimize our client's Human Resources technology systems. This role will serve as a key liaison between HR functional teams and technical resources while playing a critical part in the ongoing administration, enhancement, and stabilization of the Workday platform. The ideal candidate will help drive system configuration, reporting, data integrity, security, and process improvements. This is a hands-on role supporting daily HRIS operations as well as larger initiatives including system enhancements and updates. Requirements:

  • 3\+ years of hands-on experience as an HRIS Analyst or Administrator, with at least 2–3 years specifically in Workday
  • Strong experience with Workday configuration, business processes, security groups, and Report Writer
  • Proficiency building Advanced and Matrix reports, Calculated Fields, and EIBs
  • Advanced/Expert Level Excel skills (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUPs, complex formulas) required
  • Experience supporting HRIS implementations, integrations, or platform migrations is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • SQL experience is strongly preferred but not required
  • Familiarity with Workday integrations and troubleshooting is strongly preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily maintenance, administration, and troubleshooting of the Workday HRIS platform
  • Configure business processes, security roles, and access requests
  • Develop and maintain complex reports, dashboards, and data analytics to support decision-making
  • Manage EIBs for mass data uploads, exports, and integrations
  • Support system testing, upgrades, and new feature implementations
  • Monitor data integrity, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with vendors and internal teams
  • Provide end-user support, training, and documentation
  • Assist with data mapping, cleansing, and validation for accurate system loads
  • Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Benefits, and IT teams on system improvements
