Role Description

The Human Resources Generalist is a full-time hybrid role based in Fort Lauderdale, FL, with some flexibility to work from home. This role manages day-to-day HR operations, including administering and updating HR policies, supporting HR management initiatives, and maintaining accurate employee records. The Human Resources Generalist coordinates employee benefits and benefits administration, assists with onboarding and offboarding processes, and responds to employee inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Additional responsibilities include supporting compliance with employment laws, assisting with performance management and employee relations, and partnering with leadership to promote a positive, inclusive workplace culture.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Human Resources (HR) and HR Management, with experience supporting day-to-day HR operations.
  • Knowledge of HR Policies and compliance requirements, including relevant federal, state, and local employment regulations.
  • Experience with Employee Benefits and Benefits Administration, including enrollment, changes, and troubleshooting issues.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills to foster constructive employee relations.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maintain accurate, organized HR documentation.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems and standard office software; experience in a biotechnology or healthcare environment is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a hybrid setting, managing priorities both onsite and remotely.
